Grower: Pedro Corrêa Selva & Marcileuce
Variety: Yellow and Red Catuaí. Process: Washed
Migrating from Italy, Marcileuce’s ancestors sought a new life in Brazil. They established themselves in the township of Venda Nova do Imigrante where they acquired a small plot of land. From here their love of coffee grew which inspired them to plant their first crop.
Due to its rocky terrain, harvesting is done through selective handpicking. This process adds to the quality of the final coffee. Only the ripest berries are carefully picked from the trees at varying times. Marcileuce and Pedro may pass the same tree as many as 4 times, only picking when the berries are at their best.
Despite many challenges, the efforts of Marcileuce and Pedro have seen their farm develop into producing the high quality coffee that we now offer for you to enjoy!
