Background

Coffee exports from East Timor represent a modest fraction of global coffee production—amounting to less than 1%—yet this burgeoning industry serves as a vital lifeline for the nation's populace. An estimated 25% of East Timorese households depend on the thriving coffee sector for their financial sustenance. At the heart of this industry is a cooperative that anchors itself across the diverse regions of Ermera, Ainaro, Aileu, Manufahi, and Liquiçá. This cooperative comprises dedicated, traditional small-scale farmers who are the stewards of their land and the custodians of their community’s future. When we choose to purchase East Timor's coffee, we are directly contributing to an economic lifeline that sustains families, fosters community development, and encourages the preservation of time-honoured agricultural practices.

awesome in cup

Having come from the coffee capital of the US, Washington state, I know good coffee, and this is not only good coffee it is awesome coffee. This one is the best coffee I have ever come across in Australia. It is robust, smooth, and does not have that bitter after taste like most coffees. I always put a little of caramel coffee syrup in my cup as I like my coffee sweet, and this coffee goes perfect with it. I highly recommend this one if you like sweeter coffees, but don't buy too much as I need to get mine too! They ran out of this one last year cause it is so yummy, so I had to get blend 1 which is okay, but this one is better. Just got my new batch of this one a couple of days ago, and enjoying a cup of it now! MMMMMM
