Flavour Intensity 4/5 — Medium Roast

Sourced from the renowned Cooperativa Cafe Timor, this organic Timor-Leste Maubisse specialty coffee is carefully selected for its unique characteristics and expertly roasted to bring out its full potential.
A fragrant aroma of vanilla bean and blackberries leads into flavours of soft lychee, sweet spice, apricot and almonds, alongside rich toffee and molasses. The juicy, sticky body carries bright tart malic acidity, while the magnificent velvet crema adds to the overall experience. Bright and full-bodied, it finishes with walnut and a clean, lingering sweetness. A perfect choice for those who appreciate a medium roast organic coffee with depth of flavour and complexity.

Available in 250g and 1kg, whole beans, or ground to order for your brew method.

    Why East Timor Coffee Matters

Coffee exports from East Timor represent less than 1% of global coffee production, yet this industry is a vital lifeline for the nation. An estimated 25% of East Timorese households depend on the coffee sector for their financial sustenance. At the heart of this industry is a cooperative spanning the regions of Ermera, Ainaro, Aileu, Manufahi and Liquiçá, made up of dedicated traditional small-scale farmers who are the stewards of their land and their community's future. When you purchase this coffee, you're directly contributing to an economic lifeline that sustains families and fosters community development.
